Job Description - Strategic Business Partner to the CEO for India involved extensively in P&L management, Finance and Financial Compliance, Information Technology and Risk Management

Our client is a large Indian player within the mining space. It also has diverse interests in various heavy sectors of manufacturing. A rapidly growing player in the global market as well, our client exports to multiple geographies and is making a name in the B2B manufacturing space the world over.

Description :

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer your responsibilities will include :

1. Complete overall responsibility for the books of accounts, presenting accurate financial statements to the board, investors and promoters

2. Continuous improvement in the second line of defence surrounding multiple areas - overall risk management, Internal Financial Controls and regulatory compliances

3. Maintaining and improving existing banking relationships while bringing on board new relationships. Preparing a long term fund raising plan while maintaining appropriate levels of leverage

4. Acting as a business partner to the CEO for expansion. Identifying target organisations for acquisitions; coordinating the deal structure and ensuring a smooth process

5. Acting as a business partner to every function within the organization. Direct planning, analysis and controlling functions to ensure maximum levels of profitability at a consolidated level

6. Upgrading and overseeing design of robust IT systems and processes to drive efficiencies and transformation

Profile :

You are a Chief Financial Officer in a large (2000 cr + turnover) manufacturing/mining organisation. You have rich (close to 25 years) experience within heavy and capital intensive industries and are very comfortable in a business to business environment. You are an SAP expert with concrete achievements in streamlining accounts and controls. A natural business partner, you have an aspiration to move into overall P&L management (CEO role). You possess considerable influencing and presentation skills
