About our Client - Our client is a product based, technology driven, young startup that is being covered by many a media house, providing solutions to operators in the supply-chain space - specifically in the logistics and distribution stages.

Job Description - The role will be responsible for partnering with the leadership team and driving the organization towards a great future.

- The CFO will be an adviser to the board taking care of the financial and economic modeling.

- Overall responsibility of the entire finance gamut of the organization.

- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and Budgeting and audit requirements.

- Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities. Role also involves taking care of strategic partnerships (local and international) - including but not limited to Mergers and Acquisitions.

- Moreover, one will be responsible for assessing the performance of the organization against the budget and the long term strategy of the organization, and advise the board on strategy and operations of the firm Take care of legal contract drafting, partner with the IT team and procure hardware/software fitting the specialized needs of the organization.

- Other responsibilities will include cash flow management/forecasting, budgeting and implementation of processes. Develop and mentor a team.

- Responsibilities of this shall include work allocating, training, performance appraisal, conflict resolution and ensuring proper team dynamics

The Successful Candidate :

- A seasoned leader with 10+ years of experience in the finance world.

- Ideally coming from a technology background, the successful applicant would have a strong background in accounting, with a proven and quantifiable track record in providing key strategic inputs to firms in the past An MBA (CA/CPA/CS would be an added advantage) who has experience in managing the entire finance function - Accounting, Budgeting, Reporting, Controlling, Statutory Audits, Taxation, and investor relations (including fund raising).

- S/he will be a hands-on manager with a desire to work in a young and dynamic environment Strong analytical skills with experience in transforming a strategic vision into an operational model, with past experience in managing critical financial systems.

- Excellent communication skills-oral, written as well as interpersonal with a collaborative and flexible style
