Chief Financial Officer/Head - Finance - Insurance Broking (15-20 yrs)
Our client Anviti Insurance Brokers Private Limited is in the process of setting up its Insurance Broking operations in India. Anviti is promoted by Catamaran, the proprietary investment firm of Mr N.R. Narayana Murthy, founder of Infosys Limited. Catamaran has a long-term orientation and intend to build an enduring institution, based on values and excellence, that will achieve market leadership
Apar Peopleworld is working with Anviti to hire a professional team for them.
We are currently hiring for their leadership position Head of Finance / CFO for Bangalore location. We are looking for minimum 15 years with at least 5+ years of experience in a CFO role of corporate; preferably from Insurance Industry or regulated Financial Service organizations
S/he should have prior experience in :
Business Plan projections and budgeting :
- Play a key role in the business decisions by understanding the business relevant metrics and carrying out financial analysis. Ability to take a contrarian view to the CEO and ensure that the right fiscal decisions are taken.
- Budgeting top down and bottom up and stretch wherever there is opportunity. Publish monthly P&L statements and Cash flow management
Financial reporting & statutory compliance :
- Provide daily/weekly/monthly/fortnightly financial and management information reports including budget Vs actual. Responsible for accounting and financial systems, 100% statutory compliance and timely, adequate controls and accurate book keeping
Taxation and audits :
- Develop appropriate processes to reduce tax burden. Monitor compliance with statutory authorities for taxation.
- Liaise with external Auditors to ensure timely and smooth closure of financials. Smoothly complete statutory and internal audits.
