Chief Financial Officer - Fund Raising - Startup

With its proprietary performance-based mobile advertising platform, Company has helped several world-class brands across sectors to break through the clutter, acquire new customers and improve their Cost per Install (CPI) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).

Role: Chief Financial Officer(CFO)

Location: Bangalore

MUST HAVE Experience:

- 6-12 years of experience into FUND RAISING and INVESTMENT BANKING and heading entire finance function.

- Start-up Fund Raising experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Administering and monitoring the financial system and controls in order to ensure that the integrity of finances, processes and data are maintained in an accurate and timely manner

- Work closely with the finance teams to ensure accounts are received and paid on time

- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment

- Ensuring the Establishments and maintenance of cash and other controls; monitoring cash reserves; preparing and reconciling bank statements; initiating payments for all accounts due

- Establishing and maintaining vendor and supplier contracts and accounts; processing vendor and supplier invoices; maintaining the purchase order system

- Ensuring transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerised accounting system

- Assisting in preparation of income statements, balance sheets and monthly financial statements and quarterly reports.

- Preparation of strategic MIS reports for the top management review.

- Ensuring all tax filings and related compliances

- Liaising with auditors for annual monitoring

- Work closely with the CEO towards fund raise, investment management and global expansion

Requirements:

- Thorough knowledge of accounting practices in India and Singapore, including legal/asset contracts; finance and accounting related issues; budget analysis; preparation of financial statements and MIS; internal auditing of transactions; and accounting software

- Experience of implementing an financial and accounting software in enterprise setting will be an added advantage.

- Experience and knowledge of best practices in financial ethics, independent audits, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong interpersonal skills: Upbeat, friendly and professional.

- Excellent time management skills and organisational skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and office-related IT tools.

- Willingness to learn new things even though you never done them before.

- Familiarity with the ins and outs of a startup environment.

- Knowledge of using Quick books will be an added advantage
