About our Client - Our client is an up and coming e-commerce startup that is at its early stages of revenue generation. With presence across 20 Indian cities, they are growing at a rapid pace. Funded by some of the most well known VC / PE funds, our client is now looking to strategically utilize the cash reserve in place - with a realistic target of operating profitability in the next 2 years & an IPO in the next 4 years.

Job Description - The CFO role with our client will entail:

- Setting up processes and implementing controls for the finance function for the organization

- Be the overall in-charge of the operational side of finance, taking care of accounting, reporting, compliance, taxations, audits, FP&A, budgeting among other things

- Partner with sales and marketing verticals to maximize revenue generation for the organization

- Drive the strategy of the firm towards the long term targets of the organization - operating profitability in the next 2 years and an IPO in the next 4 years

- Optimal utilization of the raised funds and its strategic investment

- Liaison and maintain investor relations

- Identify and evaluate growth opportunities for the organization

The Successful Candidate - The successful applicant will be a Chartered Accountant having:

- 10-15 years of post qualification experience, with experience in eCommerce, IT/ITES, Technology, FMCG, retail, telecom highly preferred

- Strong operational and strategic financial acumen

- Proven track record of partnering with businesses to maximize revenue generation of organization with an ability to operate as a part of a highly dynamic team

- Female candidates will be preferred

- Excellent track record not just as a team leader but as a team player as well

- Excellent communication skills
