Head - Operations - Material Handling Industry (15-25 yrs)
Our Client who are leading specialists in material handling systems and who take complete responsibility from concept to commissioning of their products & services, are seeking to have on board a seasoned leader to head the organization as a Head Operations. Among other tasks, the Head Operations will have full P&L responsibility.
Industrial Product Manufacturing / Material Handling industry experience is a pre-requisite.
Besides, the preferred candidate will need to have the following :
- Have an entrepreneurial mind set, strong operations background, great commercial savvy and a successful track record as a senior leader with a minimum of 15+ years of progressive business experience.
- Some experience in steering a company through rapid manufacturing focused growth will be a distinct advantage.
- Substantial experience in dealing with Clients & Channel Partners is a prerequisite.
- Demonstrable track record of success overseeing diverse functional areas.
- Strong general management skills with knowledge of pricing, vendor management, business development, and effective customer relationships.
- Capable of successfully articulating short term and long term plans to the Board of Directors and to the organization using Key Performance Indicators that reflect, predict and maximize financial / business performance.
- Above all, the person will be an inspiring leader who is a strong influencer with the desired leadership skills to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
