Scope-
The incumbent will be responsible for
- Volume, Profit and Growth across Categories, Target Segments and Geographies.
- Entering new categories, segments and geographies.
- Developing and launching new products.
- Establishing and managing Pan-India Supply Chain Network ( Manufacturing, Outsourcing, Buying & Distribution ).
- Sales and Field force management.
Job Profile
Business results-
- Deliver top line and bottom line financial results
- Manage the Budgeting Process
- Review /analyze performance periodically and take proactive / corrective actions
- Report key financial /performance indicators to MD periodically Market growth
- Achieve market growth by creating and executing competitive marketing and business strategies
- Travel extensively and keep in direct touch with all existing and new markets / geographies
Production and Quality-
- Plan production Capacities and production as per Sales requirements.
- Monitoring the operational performance of the production units periodically and align them seamlessly to the market requirement.
- Ensure optimal capacity utilization of the plants and capacity building for expansion.
- Ensure product output quality by establishing and sustaining superior manufacturing standards.
Materials-
- Ensure that the purchase and inventory management function is aligned to meet production & quality requirements and achieve cost efficiency.
- Establish systems, delegation levels and review processes to manage capital expenditure and Operating expenses.
New Product-
- Meet customer / consumer needs by carrying out research on consumer preferences, improving current products and introducing new products in alignment with the market needs.
- Development and launch of trend setting wellness products to increase presence in the health and wellness category.
HR Initiatives-
- Create a culture of innovation, transparency, ownership and accountability.
- Ensure effective selection, development and retention of superior talent.
- Lead HR initiatives like succession planning, high potential management and reward management.
Team Leadership-
- Identify and develop accountable teams for managing key functions and operating units.
- Establish performance standards & score cards and communicate expectations at all levels.
- Coach and lead a winning team.
Innovation-
- Acquire / create proprietary knowledge / technology.
- Manage research & training initiatives in food technology, packaging and bio-technology.
- Develop new product range – conceptualization, recipe formulation, lab trials, decision on manufacturing locations, factory trials and trouble shooting.
- New product launches.
