Job Description:

Lead an effective finance organisation. Set up and maintain Governance, Risk and Compliance procedures for India (Pune and Trivandrum).

Ensure effective cost control so as to ensure that the organisation contributes towards the group directive of effective cost optimisation and control, and achieves target savings.

Manage ACIS & AMOS Finance, Tax, Legal and related services with optimal cost and proactive advise to the management.

Lead an effective Finance Organisation:

- Maintain a robust AND FIT FOR PURPOSE finance organisation.

- Maintain a robust revenue and collections function in India Finance.

- Ensure planned revenues are met.

- Support management information and strategic guidance for cost optimisation and support in achievement of corporate plan objectives.

- Ensure that the projected smart prices cost savings are met.

- Develop back up and successor.

- Address training and development needs of the team.

- Develop and maintain robust finance and accounting policies, processes, procedures and calendars.

Set up and maintain Governance, Risk and Compliance procedures for the Organization:

- Maintain a robust internal control process.

- Ensure governance processes and policies addressing all internal and external audits and open issues and build an environment and culture of control and compliance.

- Maintain a robust compliance framework and ensure all statutory returns are filed on time and accurately.

- Comply with safe harbour requirements of transfer pricing.

- Responsible for compliance of India within Indian legislative and fiscal environments.

- Responsible for India finance and related internal policies.

- Responsible for tax and related compliances, including company law matters.

- Responsible for relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, tax advisors and consultant Service Centre Forum.

- Liaise with Foreign Consulates re Visa issues.

- Liaise with banks and maintain relationships to secure best rates of interest and services.

- Deal with various Government institutions relating to Tax, Customs, Foreign Exchange and Companies legislation etc.

Provide strategic support to Senior Management :

- Provide regular finance insights to ECM and Indian directors of India.

- Ensure timely preparation and execution of the Planning cycle, with particular attention to any changes impacting Customers.

- Enhance the pricing process, pricing board and provide early warning signals, as needed.

- Enhance and maintain the process of review of corporate plan and financials on a monthly basis, by way of educating and MI review with the divisions.

Qualification: B Com (H), ACA, ACWA, ACS

Experience: 18+ years of experience in Accounting and Tax

Key competencies:

- Knowledge and experience to envision develop and implement the key processes and policies in finance function.

- Skills and capabilities for providing strategic advice to the management and the shareholder of the company.

- Ability to maintain exemplary working relationships with customers and key personnel.

- Experience of working in diverse functionalities and organisations to gather best practices.

- Effective communication skills to satisfactorily communicate and satisfy the requirement of stakeholders at different levels.

- Experience and knowledge of developing, supporting and implementing plan and budgets.

- Excellent knowledge of local and relevant legal and contractual obligations.

- Understand the principles and methods relating to all aspects of organisation building, people development and skill enhancement.

- Good understanding of business needs from a finance perspective.
