Chef's Basket - Manager - Indirect Taxation - CA - FMCG

Job Description :

- Person capable of handling the Indirect Taxes including Custom (Valuation & Classification)

- The person should have broad understanding of Direct Tax Laws

- The person will be responsible for ensuring all Local VAT/CST, Excise, Service tax, GST, tax planning, reviewing compliances, defending audits & assessments and handling litigations.

- Should have adequate knowledge of various indirect tax laws like custom, excise, service tax, foreign trade policy (advance licenses, EOU, SEZ, Served from India).

- Advising on indirect taxes implication of business with devising ways and means to mitigate an adverse impact and to realize the huge saving - potential of tax efficient business model.

- Skill set in analyzing, planning and strategizing tax efficient business model resulting in tax savings to organization.

- Versatile and capable of handling multiple assignment.

- He/she would be independently interacting with tax authorities, appearing before hearings, making oral and written submissions.

- The person would also be responsible for managing external consultants, auditors and key external stakeholders like Government, from the tax perspective.

Job Qualifications :

- Very Strong Academics.

- A CA with 3-6 years of experience into Indirect Taxation

- Good knowledge of Tax Laws, rules and procedures & working knowledge State VAT/CST

Salary :- 8-12 lacs per annum (flexible)
