Position: Channel Head - Gas Channel
Type of employment: Full time/Permanent
Number of positions: 2 nos. (Two positions)

Job Description:
Role: Responsible for sales of FMCD products and PDW via Gas Channel
Reporting Structure :
- Position reports to : National Business Head - FMCD and PDW
- Positions reporting in : Indirect reportees from all Regions who are reporting directly to the Regional Manager
Job Description :
- To develop strategy for sales via Gas channel
- To manage EFL relationship with Gas Channel companies
- Activate the gas channel business to sell products and PDW
- Generate Sales as per budgets assigned
- Activate corporate accounts in the space of oil, refinery and related industry
- Ensure TSIs/gas distributors/delivery boys are trained and equipped to deliver business
- Ensure collections as per company commercial norms
- Based on guidelines from central team will negotiate and implement with the T.M's/S.O's ways of working including terms of trade, ops and activities, launches etc
- Should have complete knowledge of the gas channel working including - structure / people / Primary & Secondary business needs / Targeted products / Competitive activity / Growth drivers / Execution capabilities
- Network throughout the beyond LPG channel & successfully negotiate and close deals at multiple levels of the customer organization
- Build and maintain productive relationships with key influencer's in the gas channel.
- Need to develop city wise / distributor wise plans for the gas channel.
- Work with the central team to develop the top-line by region with agreed spends & then execute the plans with regional teams
- Develop the ISP deployment plan with agreed performance metrics
- Ensure that the gas channel executes plans agreed - schemes, launches, and commercial terms.
- Monthly/quarterly forecast for the channel.
- Ensure smooth operations in the channel; and proactively address any hurdles that come long - delayed payments, distributor schemes etc.
Influence key sales drivers like :
- Price: Suggested Retail Price in line with our pricing strategy & discipline
- Merchandising: Product Visibility templates
- Merchandising Materials & Assets
- Availability/Assortment
- Distributor Shop availability & display
- Build category awareness for the brand
- Work on right schemes for the channel; study, learn and implement learning's across
- Conflict resolution: will proactively involve himself to resolve any conflicts in the channel; partners and leaders
- Sales planning; analyze leader wise sales; reasons for low/high sales; plug gaps thru proactive sittings with the team and develop action plans
