About Chaayos :

Chaayos is a venture funded start-up serving the $6Bn Indian Chai market. We are redefining how chai is consumed in a huge unorganized growing market - currently we are at 8 cafes in Delhi NCR, we are providing chai on demand through our disposable kettles (and partnerships with Ola Caf-, Grofers, etc) and have created our own blends of premium masala chais. We are the largest and highest rated chai-caf- in NCR, and are looking to expand to 50 cafes in the next year and a half, expanding our base to 4 cities.

Our aim is to create a global brand around chai, being present at every point where our customers interact with the beverage.

Job Role Summary :

- Projects Manager will be responsible for setting up Chaayos caf- and delivery outlets within defined Turn-around-time. Projects manager will be responsible for managing multiple new outlet projects in multiple cities simultaneously.

- Key responsibilities include creating interior drawings, finalizing vendor contracts for procurement of raw materials and equipment's and setting up BOQs & BOMs.

- Additionally, maintenance dept. will fall under Projects manager. Maintenance dept. will be responsible for catering to all maintenance needs of all Chaayos cafes including electrical, HVAC, plumbing etc.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks :

The candidate will be responsible for the following in his/her job role

- Shortlist best vendors/contractors to setup Chaayos- outlets in multiple cities

- Negotiate contracts with multiple vendors while minimizing costs and ensuring quality

- Define BoQs and BoMs for setting up a Chaayos caf-

- Understand store design and services including electrical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC, Fire

- Handover the finished store to Operations team within defined turn-around-time

- Set-up maintenance dept.

- Define ways of working of maintenance dept. to ensure that all maintenance needs are taken care of within 2 days

- Leadership, Management and Personality

Essential :

- Strong Negotiation skills

- Meticulous Project Manager

- Experience and Academic Background

Essential :

- Engineer or Architect from one of India's premier institutes

- At least 8 years of experience in projects

Desirable :

- Experienced in setting up a restaurant/QSR

- Held a key post in organizing team of college fests
