CFO/Financial Controller - Internet/Online (8-15 yrs)
Corporate Controller (Chartered Accountant / ICWA)
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant / ICWA with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 8 To 12 + years of experience in India accounting/finance related field.
- Experience working with multinational businesses is required
- Experience with STP logistics system for import/export
- Strong technical knowledge of India GAAP and US GAAP preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Motivated self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others within and across functions at all levels of the company.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for implementing and establishing the accounting operations of a company in India
- Responsible for running the day to day accounting/finance operations of Indian Subsidiary
- Responsible for preparing monthly financial reports and monthly tax filings
- Review payroll calculations and review employee reimbursements in accordance to policy
- Manage accounts payable and employee expenses reimbursement
- Responsible for monthly A/P & F/A sub-ledger close and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly expense accruals and amortization Journal Entries for G/L book
- Responsible for India office’s monthly accounting close and reconciliation
- Prepare and report monthly cash expenditures forecasts
- Work closely with HR and Engineering teams relating to all finance projects and related issues.
- Assist with the filing of local statutory audit reports and tax filings
- Carry out and improve upon accounting-related controls and compliance
- Preparing recurring and ad-hoc reports and analysis to US finance department when required
- Getting the audit and tax filings and other statutory filings done on a timely manner.
