CEO/Business Head - Startup - IIM

Candidate expectation : Full Time IIM candidates with relevant years of experience in IT/ Technology / Digital domain, working in senior management positions would be the right fit. Startup experience will be a plus.

We are startup in Digital eCommerce platform based out of Bangalore and will soon be a global player.

Job Description :

Planning:

- Creates annual operating plans that support strategic direction set by the board and co-relate with annual operating budgets. Submits annual plans to the board for approval.

- Collaborates with the board to define & articulate the organization's vision and to develop startegies for achieving that vision.

- Develops and monitors strategies for ensuring the long term financial visibility of the organization.

- Develops future leadership within the organization.

Management:

- Promotes a culture that reflects the organization's values, encourages good performance and rewards productivity.

- Hires, Manages and fires the Employees of the organization with the help of human resource according to authorized personal policies and procedures that fully confirm to current laws and regulations.

- Oversees the operations of organization and manage its compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Creates and maintains procedures for implementing plans approved by the board.

- Ensures that staff and board have sufficient and up to date information.

- Evaluates the organization's and the staff's performance on a regular basis.

Financial Management:

- Oversees staff in developing annual budgets that support operating plans and submits budgets for board approval

- Prudently manages the organization's resources within budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations.

Position Purpose :

- Responsible for establishing and executing major goals and objectives for the company.

- Interprets and implements policies established by Board.

- Provides leadership, direction and guidance for all company activities.

- Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of all operations.

- Develops and Maintains organizational structure and effective personnel.

- Participates in the inception and development of new services and products time to time.

- Coordinates major activities through sub-ordinates and appraises assigned personnel.

- Represents the company to regulatory agencies, trade association, community and civic organizations and other financial institutions.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties :

- Executes all board approved policies.

- Directs and oversees short run and long run strategic planning. Sets overall objectives for all areas of the company

- Develops and Implements operational plans, policies and goals that further supports the company's strategic objectives.

- Continuously monitors the general economic environment and anticipated trends.

- Update policies and procedures with the help of HR so that they are commensurate with economic conditions.

- Oversees the development of appropriate marketing strategies.

- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective financial policies.

- Maintains full awareness of the complete financial, statistical and accounting records of the company.

- Ensures that's all assets of the company are adequately protected.

- Recommends investments in a proper ratio of securities to maintain adequate cash reserves and sound financial structure.

- Ensures that opening results established in the annual budget are achieved, including the net interest spread, the control of operating expenses within budget, loan loss provisions and the generation of reserves sufficient to achieve targeted capital growth.

- Ensures the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of all financials.
