About the Job

We are currently looking for Asst. Manager/ Manager - NPI/Product Engineering (New product Introduction) for our EMS Division.

Purpose of the Role

- Leads the NPI/NPS organization. Is fully responsible for defining, developing and executing the NPI/NPS Processes. Identify the training requirements to support all NPI / NPS activities. Provides the link between NPI / NPS and mass production

Main Responsibilities / Critical tasks - Supervise, equip and coach NPI Engineers to ensure consistency in execution and performance to meet NPI Goals.

- Analyze the training needs for TPM (Technical Program Engineer) and NPI Team.

- Carry out Performance Appraisal for NPI Team. Identifies strengths and weakness. Develop plans to address shortcomings so as to meet defined department goals.

- Develop necessary documents and procedures to ensure a smooth NPI Execution and transfer of skill sets and knowledge to Business Unit when product is transferred.

- Work with Training department to help develop the technical training requirement for all technical personnel based on the sites technology roadmap.

- Ensure best practices, continuous improvements and lessons learnt are shared among NPI Engineers.

Qualification & Experience

- B. Tech/B.E

- Overall 7 - 16 years of Experience in NPI, Technology Transfer, Manufacturing and Engineering is required.

- Good communication and presentation skills.

- Problem solving abilities.

- Leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.

- Good spoken and written English

- Good skill of MS Office

Work Location: Yelahanka New Town
