CEB is searching for a Research Analyst to be part of an India-based team . The Research Analyst will be responsible for investigating, analyzing and reporting on issues facing senior executives in leading global corporations. This individual will work on a wide range of work streams and written deliverables that require both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including (but not limited to): white papers; quick-turnaround information summaries in response to individual client inquiries; online community moderation (formatting and supplementing answers on various client discussion forums); recaps and takeaways from live events; and qualitative and quantitative benchmarking and data analysis. Research Analysts must be intellectually curious and have the desire to quickly develop “generalist” knowledge of the following terrain areas: sales strategy and operations, key account management, branding, marketing communications, product management, market research, internal and external communications, social media, and customer contact management. The Research Analyst role is a key feeder to careers reaching the highest levels of the firm.   Position Responsibilities:  - Partners on interviews with senior team members and can probe CEB members, prospects and staff on fundamental investigation issues and questions  - Prepares insightful, accurate and detailed interview notes that clearly and crisply highlight the key takeaways and their impact on the investigation  - Carries out secondary research activities focused on research issues and the competitive landscape  - Can build a market universe of potential members and create basic financial models  - Completes market prospecting independently with a focus on efficiency and accuracy  - Works closely with sales, research, member services and other groups in the firms to gather information and advice on new business initiatives and beings to spot opportunities to inflect current business performance  - Distills large amounts of information and data from multiple sources into meaningful, powerful conclusions  - Assists in the preparation of research findings to the CEB Leadership Team (“CLT”) and other senior audiences  - Participates in department planning and “brainstorming” sessions for new research initiatives and assisting in new businesses viability assessments  Qualifications:  - Outstanding record of achievement in current position  - Strong analytical and quantitative skills  - Solid project management skills  - Proven research skills, using both primary and secondary sources of information  - Working knowledge of CEB's business model and dynamics (if an internal candidate)  - Solid oral and written communication skills, including visual depiction of insights and ideas  - Passion for research, analysis and insight generation  - Solid client-facing communication and interpersonal skills  - Maturity, poise, discretion and grace under pressure  - Willingness and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of constituencies within the firm, including senior management and CLT  - High energy, positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit  - A strong spirit of firm citizenship and a desire to take on a direct role in expanding the CEB business portfolio  Preferred Experience:  - Masters with 0-2 years of Research / Management Consulting experience  CEB, the leading member-based advisory company, equips more than 10,000 organizations around the globe with insights, tools and actionable solutions to transform enterprise performance.
