Research Analyst- Finance Practice

CEB is searching for a Research Analyst to be part of an India-based team that serves as an extension of Finance Practice global content creation team. The Research Analyst will be responsible for investigating, analyzing, and reporting on issues facing senior executives in leading global corporations.This individual will work across the Finance domain on a wide range of topics and deliverables that require both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The Research Analyst must be intellectually curious and have the desire to quickly develop - generalist- knowledge of the following terrain areas: CFO Executive Board strategy,Investor Relations Roundtable,Treasury Leadership Roundtable, Audit Director Roundtable,Controllers- Leadership Roundtable, Tax Director Roundtable, Corporate Strategy Board, Research & Technology Executive Council,Procurement Strategy Council,Real Estate Executive Board .

The Research Analyst research role aligns with the global research career track in the firm.

Responsibilities:

- Construct early-stage hypotheses based on initial literature and ''expert'' research at inception of projects

- Arrange and conduct interviews with senior executives, academics and industry experts in search of best practices

- Conduct quantitative analysis of benchmarking information

- Synthesize observed trends to identify best demonstrated practices

- Present research findings to senior finance executives by effective use of tactic-based narrative text and insightful graphics

- Work on internally sponsored benchmarking initiatives as well as proactive projects on emerging technical accounting issues

- Manage decision support centers, newsletters, peer-groups and other web-based content for the program's membership

- Create finance learning center (FLC) modules and research briefs in partnership with research associates

- Independence necessary to complete research and present relevant findings with minimal input from managers

- Demonstrated project management capabilities with proven faculty for meeting deadlines, managing multiple projects under pressure

- Familiarity with web-based publishing formats

- Passion for research, analysis and insight generation

- Original/creative thinking and superior problem solving abilities

- Desire and ability to assume leadership role in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
