Position: Quantitative Analyst - Finance Practice

The Finance Practice aims to hire Quantitative Analyst, and is currently accepting applications. The selected incumbent will be part of the Finance Quantitative Team addressing cutting-edge strategic issues facing today's senior-most Finance member executives at leading, global corporations. The Finance Practice provides excellent exposure to the full range of Finance topics and provides the opportunity for Analyst to develop their understanding of financial concepts.

The Quant Analyst position at the Finance Practice is for individuals interested in conducting data-driven research and analysis- the foundation for any data science, strategic planning or research-oriented career. Analysts enjoy exposure to the full array of strategic data work: data management and processes; benchmarking and norming surveys; predictive modeling; proprietary research exercises; and increasingly Big Data tools and techniques focused on peeling apart ideas in search of insight.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Own end-to-end creation, development and analysis of large, complex, disparate data sets to identify actionable insights for senior executives

- Building benchmark and other standardized data reports for members with simple and insightful graphics

- Assist with large-scale data collection efforts through administration of multi-national panel or member facing surveys targeted to CXOs, their teams, or their business partners

- Communicating and presenting analytical insights to internal stakeholders

- Partnering with internal stakeholders to use proprietary data for additional new products and services

- Communicate and present analytical insights to internal stakeholders that include senior practice leaders, subject matter experts and advisors

- Proof reading client-facing reports to ensure high quality and verify accuracy of data

- Coordinating internally with teams to ensure timely delivery of quality reporting and services to members

Required skills:

- Creating automation for redundant processes, using R, VBA or any other technology

- Ability to distill quantitative and qualitative data into important, relevant ''so what's'' for a CXO-level audience

- Self-starter, capable of taking the initiative and managing own pieces of work

- Should have experience leading short term and long term projects and ability to manage the work of junior staff on project teams

- Strong ability and orientation towards meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects under time pressure

- Excellent project management, problem solving, communication, attention to detail and analytical skills required.

- Original and creative thinking and superior problem solving abilities

Good to have:

- Programming or advanced statistical skills a strong plus

- Proficiency in at least one statistical software package (R, Stata, SPSS, etc.)

- Experience to other software tools and frameworks e.g. Python, Tableau, R, Matlab.
