CDO Suite Modelling Analyst - Banking - IIT/NIT/IIM/ISB (0-3 yrs)
Opening with a leading bank for freshers.
Global Analytics Group is seeking to engage an additional CDOSuite modelling analyst. The role involves modelling the Securitised transactions and associated compliance. Responsibilities of the CDO Suite Group analyst includes the following:
- Model CDOs and similar kinds of structured product deals in the CDO Suite platform based on the Transaction Documentation and using the best modeling practices followed in the Group.
- Interpret the Transaction Documentation and make informed decisions based upon this interpretation.
- Quickly gain a good understanding of the modeling systems and securitisation scripting language used.
- Provide active support for existing models through a change control process
- Ensure Quality Assurance of all such deals
- Assist with various projects, analysis, release testing, process improvement/re-engineering measures and other initiatives of the group
- Carry out all other regular activities of the group.
- Take an active role in implementing project based work to meet specific deadlines for respective projects
Essential skills:
- PC literate including strong MS Excel (to VBA language level)
- Positive attitude and strong commitment to delivering high quality work
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving
- Able to learn new concepts quickly and independently with strong motivation for developing new skills and understanding financial products
- Knowledge of wide range of financial products
- Team player with ability to work in time pressured environment
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail is essential
- Innovative and proactive
- Strong communication skills
Preferable skills:
- Financial experience with a Market or Credit Risk background preferred
- Experience in legal document interpretation (Preferred)
- Strong Knowledge of Relational Databases / SQL and MS Access databases (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Crystal Programming (Preferred)
Education / Qualifications Req : Engineering from Tier A colleges (IITs/NITs) (Essential with 2-4 years experience) OR MBA from Tier A colleges
