Position: Category / Merchandising Lead  Location: Mumbai  Role Responsibilities:   - Building selection and stock management: Will be responsible for determining customer market needs, growing selection across sub-categories, brands and use cases, managing vendor partners, optimizing vendor marketing investments on site and getting support for marketing campaigns.   - Pricing and Demand generation: Responsible for pricing and demand generation. This includes working with other members on the category management team to come up with innovative promotions and site features to improve customer experience.   - Build Customer Experience: Responsible to drive customer adoption and repeat for the new program by uncovering insights and identifying the levers of behavior change and addressing them effectively   - Business planning and communication to senior management: Develop a short-term and long-term plan for growth and reporting on a regular basis on the state of key topline and bottom-line metrics and risk factors.   Basic Qualifications:   - Bachelor's degree / MBA preferred  - 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in sofline / female ethnic space  - Experience with relationship management, negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development   - Proven history in leadership roles with direct management of a team(s), with track record of developing/promoting direct reports   - Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive results   - Proven analytical thinking, Excellent attention to Detail and project management skills are essential   - Some travel required   Piya Kothari
