- Current Salary of candidate should be between 11 Lacs to 13 Lacs

- Exposure of Category management in Mobile is a must

Job Title : Category Manager - Mobiles

Main Responsibilities:

- Support initiatives for maximizing topline and bottomline for their Category

- Drives Business growth and market Share of the Category with strong product, competition and consumer analytics

- Handle Buying & Merchandising for their category

- Identify High Potential Sellers and consolidate seller base. Develop Programs and Promotions to support and scale the sales level of these sellers, including account management

- Manage Big Suppliers / Vendors directly for negotiations

- Attract New Sellers to the Platform using various channels like Trade Attract, Seller Attract, Online Data Mining, Direct marketing, BDE Activity

- Daily Relationship Management activities with top sellers to drive their listings, monitor their operations and revenue growth. Educate Sellers on new Seller Tools.

- Highly responsible for Shelf Management and User Interface of the Category

- Design the Shelf Space by using appropriate Category Structure. Continuously re-Improvise the same based on user feedbacks and business rationale. Handle various Merchandising aspects related to the category

- Identify Buyer Needs using Various MIS, checking on the offline trend in the industry, doing buyer surveys, market trends and competition data

- Analyze and prepare regular Category Performance reports, forecast trends and conduct Competitive analysis

Qualifications / Experience:

- Graduate in any stream, MBA preferred

- 3 - 6 yrs of relevant category management experience in Ecommerce or Mobile industry

- Prior experience managing relations with suppliers, distributors and / or manufacturers

- Ability to influence others and gain support from stakeholders

- Strong negotiator, collaborator and team player

- High on initiative and takes ownership
