Job description

- Vendor Management

- Negotiations of margins with Vendors

- Responsibility for top line and bottom-line margins

- Forecasting profits and sales

- Planning budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures for new ranges

- Controlling stock levels based on forecasts

- Monitoring & evaluating the performance of Buying team – by guiding them to move in proper direction

- Monitor trend of the industry in terms of market development, new projects, competitive activity, new customers etc

- Drive sales and maximize profitability across the product portfolio

- Team leadership & management

Candidate must possess 9-14 yrs years of experience in international/domestic sourcing, buying, merchandising, operations & end to end category management, of which last 5 years should be in non-apparel (footwear, sunglasses, watches, fashion jewelry, toys, luggage etc.)

The candidate should be good in vendor development, negotiation, team management etc.,
