Job Description/Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving both annual and long term Functional goals of the organization by ensuring adequate and qualitative network/Retail/Franchisee presence.
- To develop franchise network plan for the region for Service Operations.
- Monitoring competitor network development activities and the franchise business proposition and devising effective counter measures
- Scouting, short listing ,appointing franchise in cities for expansion of network
- Identify and research potential markets for expansion of new or existing franchise
- Preparing franchisee identification plans, targeting specific locations and constantly pushing the growth horizons deeper into different territories
- Identify Potential Market through Market Research & Market Scan. Lead generation through various sources like Print, Media, Digital Media, Expos, and Internal Referrals etc.
- Identification of the location for the franchise as per the company guidelines in the assigned area.
- Vet potential franchise partners. Initial screening of franchise applicant’s portfolio in terms of investment and managerial bandwidth, location, site visit, work profile, experience, attitude etc.
- Handling the franchise development process from beginning phase till the inaugural phase, on the guidelines of the company, so as to maintain the Cooperate identity of the Company
- Development of franchise opening plan with appropriate timelines and strategies for premises, staffing and systems.
- Upon approval of dealer/franchisee applicants, arranges the preparation and signing of letters of intent, Dealer/franchisee Agreements and other associated contractual documents. Develop and implements a plan of introduction, orientation and regular follow-up with newly-signed Dealer/franchisees and staff.
- Launch of new franchises, coordination of launch activities and responsible for successful execution of activities .
- To support the franchise in preparing the planning and costing of investments for new franchise facilities
- To assist POC operation and Service operation teams to help franchises in recruitment for efficient and effective manpower.
- To guide and liaise with franchise and his architects to ensure design layouts are produced in line with Carnation standards.
- To guide franchise in procurement of Signage, Furniture, Facility materials, POS materials etc. to ensure that Carnation standards are met.
- Regular on site visits to provide guidance to franchisee.
- Organization of training program for franchise staff at our hub or at franchise outlet and on site support during initial 3 month start up period.
- Actively participate in developing business plan for each franchise
- Coordination with regional POC team / Service operation team (viz. RM, FOM, Certification Engineer etc ) for network development related activities
- Meeting with senior management of Franchisees to ensure

- Other special assignments and duties of a general or unspecified nature as may be required to achieve the overall effectiveness of the franchise development department.
