Role: Solutions Lead  The role is responsible for working in conjunction with Sales and Product Strategy team on new and prospective clients to understand their strategic vision and objectives within reference data domain and propose solutions including business case effectively utilising standard product, proposed product road map and peripheral services.  Primary responsibilities:  Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  - Understand the IDMS solution and value proposition, learn BU specific skills (understand domain and technology) to add value to solution activities  - Understanding and anticipating client needs based on a strong understanding of reference data domain and associated business processes and thereby mapping these to the IDMS offering to propose a solution meeting client's tactical and strategic objectives  - Ensuring close alignment of the proposed solution with IDMS and Product Strategy, Service Delivery and Development Factory   - Responsible for all aspects of the solution proposal with the objective to drive the appropriate balance between client business case, feature and functionality availability in the product and peripheral offerings, total cost of ownership.  - Effectively define the implementation phases and value-added benefits for each phases leading to overall big picture as part of solution offering.  - Provide client discovery and assessment support to the Sales and Product teams for the client pitches.   - Work closely with Product Strategy team, Development & Architect teams to propose client solutions utilizing high level functional, operations and technical architecture models.  - Development of client solution collaterals through thought leadership  - Maintain a thorough knowledge of key competition and competitive environment  The Successful Candidate:  - Should have significant hands-on reference data domain experience in terms of implementations of product and solutions for clients,   - Should have in-depth understanding of any EDM product as part of development team or implementation team  - Should possess in depth experience in producing end-to-end functional and technical solutions utilizing platform  - Experience and a track record of working with a EDM product company or an Investment Bank with reference data domain as a Solution Architect or a Development Manager or Implementation Manager  - Excellent communications skill and ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively  - Proven experience of leading successful teams and managing large engagements on time and within budget.   This is a great opportunity to get hands on with a major Financial Services programme.  Location: Bangalore
