Oracle Financial SME - 15 to 18 Years

We are looking for Oracle Financial SME with 15 to 18 years of experience in Mumbai location.

Role Description

- Subject Matter Expert in Finance with hand on knowledge of Procurement

- Expert knowledge of Oracle Financials (Oracle Receivables, oracle payables and oracle general ledger)

- Knowledge of Oracle project accounting is preferable

- Manage the team of Subject Matter Experts in Financials

- Primary Support for Finance Applications & Business Objects

- Evaluation, Re-engineering & Automation of existing Accounting / Reporting Processes

- Understanding Business requirements & liaison with the Technical team for delivery of Solutions

- Support Finance team in Periodical closing of Accounts

- Support Finance team in resolution of issues faced in Oracle applications and other finance applications

- Creation & Updating Organization Structure in Financial Applications based on Operations Organization Chart & Approval Matrix

- Validate Reporting Requirements vis-a-vis various Statutory Requirements (Companies Act, Tax Acts, Accounting Standards) & Management Policies

- Co-ordinate Implementation and Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) for various Group System Initiatives impacting Finance Community

- Training / Guidance to Finance Users on effective usage of Financial Application 13. Plan, co-ordinate and implement Finance Systems and Process improvement initiatives

Specification/ Skills/ Experience

- In dept knowledge of Oracle financials and Project Accounting module

- Functional consultant with knowledge on accounts / finance domain

- Good communication skills

- Project planning and team management skills are a must

- Good documentation skills

Location: Mumbai

Primary Skills

- Must have worked on atleast one implementation, upgrade or support projects related to oracle financials and project accounting

- 7 -10 years of experience in oracle financials

- Must have worked on studying the client processes and doing fit gap with the tool

- Good Accounting background

- Experience in working on Oracle Financials modules of AR, AP, FA, GL, PA (preferably R12)
