Management and support roles aside, our employees are grouped into six major disciplines, Capgemini has six Strategic Business Units (SBU’s) each of which is governed by its specific economic rules, and managed with its own profit. One of these SBU’s is Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). BPO has developed significant capability in Finance and Accounting and Supply Chain Management (SCM) and now has over 6000 employees of its 13,600 employees based in India.

BPO is planning explosive growth over the next few years and the organisation is therefore taking the opportunity to invest in this role as part of that growth to ensure it has the capabilities in place now to support this planned growth. BPO has recently moved to a vertical sector focus and this role represents one of the important areas of activity in this new organisation and is therefore a key hire within this Business Unit team.

Main purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Head of the CPRD Business Unit, the job holder is responsible for establishing sector growth plans and priorities, develop and launch new sector offers, and driving client account growth in the areas of Account Development.

Key Responsibilities: SDE Supply Chain

- Define, develop, launch and support new sector specific supply chain BPO offerings.

- Drive internal and external initiatives to achieve in year targets. Specifically working to penetrate existing BPO accounts(x-sell) Configures the necessary competencies (within BPO and XSBU) - pyramid, tools and methodology - to differentiate BPO and win deals

- The primary Liaison to analyst and advisor community in promoting solution

- Promote Sector offers and growth across the Strategic Business Unit’s and Group Sector Initiatives

- Primary interface with HR on the development of specific competency models and learning maps, and with Global Delivery Centers to educate and train resources

- Bring insight and best practice from the sector and actively contribute constructive ideas and innovation towards meeting the Sector and wider BPO targets.

Measures of Success:

- Number of new sector specific solutions brought to market (pilot stage through full engagements)

- Sector specific bookings, revenue and contribution - in year and 3 yr trajectory

- Analyst favourability ratings

- # of trained and deployed resources

- Be an active and contributing member of the BU Management Team
