- The Incumbent should have mandatorily worked in the capacity of a Software Engineering Manager with full responsibility for Team hiring, Development and Delivery.  - Must have experience in multiple project life cycle models.  - Responsible for defining, designing, developing and operating a SaaS and Cloud base Application using Big Data and Java/J2ee.  - Design and develop new features and enhancements on our Big Data Analytics platform  - Lead and direct technical team to meet the product objectives, client expectations and account management.  - Work with a development team on system enhancements, and Work with the testing team on resolving issues  - Work with the business areas to understand the technical requirements and implement them, work on application changes including code optimization/refactoring.  - Design and develop new features and enhancements on our Big Data Analytics platform  - Should be open to work on all levels of product development cycle to meet the timelines.  - Should drive the team in order to meet the organization vision of developing world class team and culture.  - Very good experience in design and development of web applications using Java, J2EE, soap, REST, NOSQL, Mongo DB and Big data technologies.  - Strong project management experience leading a team of 10+ engineers  Basic Requirement:  - Hadoop and Map Reduce technologies (e.g. Avro, Oozie, Pig, Hive, HBase, HDFS)  - Experience in Web Services / SOAP / REST / XML RPC  - Hadoop Development and other BigData technologies such as Storm, Kofka, Lucence/SOLR, Membase, Dremel, BigQuery, R, Mongo DB  - Experience with automated testing methods including JUnit.  - Required experience is between 10-14 Years.  - Must have at least 1 product end to end implementation experience in Cloud/SaaS environment and/or big data for enterprise applications  - Experience with Strorm, Hadoop and MapReduce technologies (e.g. Avro, Oozie, Pig, Hive, HBase, HDFS) as well as solid understanding of structured database, SQL, ETL,NOSQL and data analytical skills.  - Strong XML processing experience such as XSD, XPATH, XSL, XSLT, etc.   - Experience in Web Services / SOAP / REST / XML RPC.  - Must have practical experience with design patterns, especially, MVC-type frameworks.  - Strong interest in algorithms and excellent analytical capabilities  - Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus  - Experience in one or more of the following are pluses: SOA, BI, Mobile platform, NLP, Data Analytics Algorithms, Scrum development process  - Work effectively individually as well as collaboratively  - Readiness to work and collaborate with remote teams  - Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
