We are 100% independent and employee owned.  - Our existing investment product is a concentrated, long-only, global equity fund.  - The fund invests in a variety of industries across developed, emerging and frontier markets.   - The fund has a 5+ year track record of beating it's benchmark and peer group indices.  - This position has opened up due to strong fund inflows in our existing product and anticipated growth in our product offering.   Key Responsibilities :  - The investment analyst will based out of our Pune office and will support the Portfolio Manager based in the US  - Work on financial statements of companies, build and maintain earnings and valuation models   - Write internal research reports clearly explaining the investment thesis  - Track & report news & events on our holdings  - Maintain industry & company databases   - Maintain company contacts and discussion  - Travel to the US (about twice a year) and globally, as needed, for investment due diligence of our existing or prospective investments  - There may be some client contact to discuss our research and analysis, if needed  - As a generalist, you will be encouraged to develop investment research skills across industries and countries we invest in  - We are a concentrated fund, we invest heavily in very few (15-20) holdings. Your focus will be on quality and in-depth knowledge, rather than quantity.   Key Skills :   - Strong knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis and security valuation (such as DCF, NPV, IRR etc.)  - Distinctive academic record, consistently highly graded within their peer group   - Educational qualification - MBA / CA; CFA level 1/2/3 pass will be a plus   - Excellent analytical and communication skills (written and oral) with attention to details   - Understanding of equity markets   - Solid analytical skills, including ability to perform data analysis  - Ability to work under pressure, multitasking and meet deadlines   - Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & MS PPT   - Good research writing skills   - Ability to formulate and articulate views logically   - At least 2 year experience in equity research or any other similar role  Compensation and Benefits:  - This position has significant room for professional growth within the existing main fund, or future products launched by our investment firm.   - We offer excellent benefits, a casual, collegial working environment, and an attractive compensation package.  - Based on individual performance, all employees at our firm have the potential to be nominated as Partners over time.
