Buy Side Analyst - Asset Management Firm

Company Description

Our client, a well-established asset management company, is seeking Investment Analyst for their India Equities team. Successful candidate will be responsible for conducting fundamental research on companies across sectors.

Responsibilities

- Conduct fundamental research on India equities across sectors and company visits

- Maintain detailed financial models, writing internal notes, generate stock ideas / buy / sell recommendations to fund managers

- Monitor key macro-economic events and news flows to form a view on the market

- Participate in daily conference calls / meetings to present stock ideas

- Coordinate meetings and conferences. Assist in preparing marketing presentation materials to clients

Requirements

- MBA / CFA qualifications is preferred

- At least five years of experience in analyzing companies across multiple sectors, in either buy or sell-side

- Strong business sense and sound analytical and stock selection skills

- Solid modeling skills and thorough understanding of principles of stock valuation

- Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English

- Able to work independently in a diverse culture environment
