Role/Job Description:

The role involves data collation from internal and external databases, and public sources of information. The incumbent is expected to process secondary research data and synthesize finding in structured format, demonstrating business writing and presentation skills. The candidate is expected to

- Conduct and deliver value-added research to Deloitte consulting practitioners by utilizing internal and external databases and other sources.

- Create company profiles, company analytical snapshots, quarterly briefing books, competitive intelligence, industry briefings, newsletters, press search etc.

- Exhibit ability to synthesize, organise and present information in structured manner

- Apply analyses such as competitor analysis, in-depth financial analysis, ratio analysis,

- Adhere to BRC quality guidelines, standards, and best practices

- Use research data to support thought leadership & eminence research

- Adhere to BRC quality guidelines and best practices

- Develop good understanding of all the service areas and industries that BRC operates in.

- Communicate with stakeholders and build an effective working relationship

- Develop good understanding of the assigned industry sector and be updated about the industry trends

Key skills

Knowledge of secondary research databases such as Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson One, Hoovers, OneSource etc.

- Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry including banking and insurance.

- Adept in research methodologies and application of management frameworks for analysis

- Excellent business writing skills and report writing skills, use of S&O type of frameworks for analyzing industries and clients

- Strong analytical and communication skills

- Ability to prioritize and multitask work assignments
