Business/Manufacturing Excellence Role - Diamond Brand

It's a global diamond and Jewelry company with vertically integrated operations that span across the value chain. Established in 1999, Today it's a Rs. 12000 Cr. global company with 1500 employees spread across 4 continents.

Headquartered in Mumbai, it has offices in New York, Hong Kong, Antwerp, Dubai and manufacturing operations in Mumbai, Surat, Moscow and Armenia.

Job Responsibilities :

- Spearheading complete operations of Plant, including Planning, Scheduling, Driving & Monitoring the Production, Quality, Cost, Delivery, New model Development, Safety, People Morale, Capacity enhancement, Optimal Infra utilization and Productivity improvement.

- Planning & driving timely achievement of plant production targets, spearheading development of new products, in coordination with R&D Team, while ensuring minimum manufacturing cost, optimum plant inventory level.

- Provide a leadership role in the integration of efforts within operations, quality and engineering for the effective introduction of new quality systems technology within operations.

- Accountable for ensuring that progress & cost control strategies are in place and acted upon according to the priorities

- Co-ordination with all manufacturing units to achieve equal quality & productivity levels across platform.

- Implementation safety rules & guidelines in the manufacturing facility. Enforcing compliance with the same to eliminate happening of untoward incidents.

- Actively involved in the planning of Preventive, Predictive & Breakdown maintenance; analysis, modifications, Spares Planning, Budgeting etc

- Managing overall operations of the plant.

- Responsible for P& L of the plant.

- Preparation and execution of annual budget.

Desired profile ;

- Experience in operations/ Plant operations/ Manufacturing excellence.

- Engineer with a post graduation degree, preferably from a premiere institute.

- Require sound knowledge of TPM, TQM, Lean Manufacturing, kaizen, Six sigma

- Experience of managing 500 - 1000 employees.

- Good exposure in plant operations.
