Job Title :- Business Manager - Animal Feed
Title Position Reports to :-Director Sales & Marketing
Location :- Gurgaon
Salary :- Would be best in the industry
Degree:- Bachelorís Degree (Required), Major :-Masters in Ag, Veterinary or Business
Purpose Of the Position :-
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Animal Feed Program for India, in close contact with the Asia Feed Sales Manager.
Position Responsibilities :-
- Responsible for direct sales to customers throughout India, including managing sales volume budgets, forecasts, pricing, logistics, and expenditure management.
- Responsible for market development of new sales and products, coordinating feed supply management, distributor administration, market analysis, competitor analysis, and demand studies based on animal populations and consumption rates for the India market.
- Responsible for the accurate delivery of companyís feed products to customers by coordinating vessel, warehouse, truck, and rail activities; and developing efficiencies into the logistics plan.
- Develop customer segmentation plan and market analysis of key players by state/geography.
- Maintain MIS for profitability & netback to evaluate cost efficiencies and assist the Asia Sales Manager in netback optimization.
Experience /Knowledge :- Marketing and Sales Skills/Experience is a must. Ag/ Vet experience is preferred.
Logistics and/or Supply Chain is a plus.
Feed ingredient product knowledge is a plus.
Computer Skills :-
- Working proficiency of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and use new software applications.
Other Specialised Skills & Abilities :-
- Strong communication skills, including excellent presentation skills.
- Very high level of conflict resolution skills.
- Must be customer focused with customer relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building skills are required across multiple levels in the organization.
