Responsible for overall P&L of the business line  2. Identify market opportunities, gaps and threats  3. Own products, Identify Positioning  4. Define road map and new products  5. Create market facing materials and collateral  6. Create Admiration: Manage key analyst relationships  7. Owns GTM strategy and ensures readiness at Product launch  8. Works through BD to ensure market awareness of product  9. Train Sales on product   10. Support sales in winning new deals  11. Responsible for ensuring deals are T1 & L1  12. Responsible for ensuring winning proposals  13. Responsible for setting Price and Commercials  14. Responsible for ensuring - Reference bank- and coordinating for references  15. Responsible for Scope containment and customer requirement sign-off  16. Ensures development of Standard implementation plan  Key Outputs  A global strategic plan with key measurable is in place and there is evidence of monitoring and review. Recognition, sales, revenue and profit targets are achieved. Costs are within budget. The business head is the - Owner- of the Product. As an owner of the product he is required to achieve the long term as well as short term  - Revenue Objectives;  - Profit Objectives  - Market Share Objectives  To achieve his Objectives the Business manager is expected to use the following 14 tools (5432)  Experience sought  Experience Profile 1 : Technology and Product Management / Pre Sales Experience  (1) Product management head or Pre Sales experience in an BFSI IT company e.g. in Temenos / Infosys / TCS / Misys / similar organization . Experience in both Product Management and Sales with between 20-30 years is ideal.  (2) Should have participated in MULTIPLE product implementations including for Channels e.g Internet or Mobile Banking suites as part of Core Banking or as an independent product.  (3) Must have a "Business/ P&L mind set" and should demonstrate understanding of Branches, Internet Banking and Mobile Banking. Should have a good understanding of at least two of the above products.  (4) Ideally should have worked across geographies and should be aware of the current banking and technology trends.  (5) Should have handled a team of at least 8 people over his career and should be a team player and not an individual contributor. Alternate Experience profile 2: Business experience in Banking and / or Channels  (1) Banker with 15-25 years experience in the relevant work area of Sales, Marketing or Operations with India wide responsibility. Should have managed the above functions in a leadership role for an organization with Branch Banking or Internet Banking or Mobile Banking Channels in its portfolio.  (2) Should have handled a P&L responsibility with Sales, Marketing and Operations functions and managed a large sales function at the national level with responsibility for direct sales over the course of his career.  (3) Ideally from a foreign bank as global exposure is a big plus.
