Opening for Business/Sales Head for a client based in Mumbai.  Key Responsibilities:  - The candidate will be required to lead the sales and business development effort for eTailing India and develop contacts with leading corporates in India and abroad.  Some of the key responsibilities will be:  - Business Development for events and research practice.  - Meeting CMO’s at leading corporates in making them aware of the companies services and products  - Establish pricing strategies, oversee market research, monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs  - Establish sales & marketing goals to ensure market share and profitability of products and services  - Manage major partnerships pro actively and build positive brand image of the company in business circles  - Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity  - Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each conference;  - Research and develop a list of potential sponsors for each conference;  - Research and develop a list of potential exhibitors when required;  - Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors;  - Keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors;  - Update the company database as required;  - Coordinate various services for clients;  - Assist in preparing promotional material to advertise sales opportunities;  - Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines;  - Delegate administrative functions to assistants where possible;  - Meet with trade and professional organizations and other groups to organize, promote and discuss Conferences / Trade show services / Round Tables / Seminars, etc ; and  Requirements:  - New business revenue generation through aggressive sponsorship and exhibition sales.  - Build, manage and grow a diverse base of client relationships.  - Identify new revenue opportunities and meet appropriate targets set out by management.  - Regularly and accurately report on prospects and pipeline.  - On occasions work outside of contracted hours, this may include international and domestic travel.  - Establish, and maintain a level of market/client knowledge that can be utilized to assist in the planning and support of present and future event development and exhibition and sponsorship opportunities.  - Work to gain a comprehensive understanding of the target audience/prospects for your products  - To sell sponsorship and exhibition opportunities to both new and existing clients of the company  - Prepare exciting and creative proposals to attract new sponsors at all levels  - Prepare contractual agreements for sponsors in accordance with company policy  - Contributing to Strategy and Meeting Business Objectives  - Focus on business development analysis and evaluation to play a pivotal role in business planning  Ideal Candidate Profile:  The ideal candidate should have the following:  - MBA in Marketing from a reputed Institute or BA/B.Com from a reputed College  - Between 7-10 years of work experience in sales, business development, marketing with a consumer-facing company  - Command of Internet & Mobile marketing concepts and terminology  - Sales, Business Development and planning experience  - Able to establish goals and meet department and corporate objectives  - Strong analytical skills  - Strong oral and written communication skills  - Strong leadership and mentoring skills  - Detail-oriented and ability to organize  - Problem-solving, innovation skills and creativity are a must  - Fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office productivity software  Interested candidates can contact on 9619846461
