Business Head - Export - Ready to Wear Textile & Leather Apparel (15-25 yrs)
For our client, we are looking for a suitable senior professional for the following role to head, lead, manage the business of manufacturing & exports of ready to wear textile apparel and leather apparels.
KRAs :
To be answerable and accountable for the sales, operations and profitability of the entire business.
Educational Qualifications :
Under Graduate or Post Graduate with preferably a related technical qualification / exposure and preferably a degree in business management.
Candidate experience and profile :
- A direct exposure to and in depth knowledge of the garment manufacturing processes & factory operations, internationally used quality control and audit systems, industrial engineering aids and techniques, productivity norms, SAM values, product costing and quality / technical requirements.
- A working knowledge of all associated raw materials, their pricing and broad manufacturing processes, with particular emphasis on different types of fabrics in cotton & synthetic blends and the different types of finishes or techniques applied on them.
- An exposure to and knowledge of the latest trends in fabrics and accessories, with an orientation towards product design and development.
- A working knowledge of the latest techniques in garment processing & treatments, different types of washes, embellishments, embroideries, prints and other such value addition techniques, their costs and applicability.
- A proven track record and experience to handle the marketing and sales of garments to international brands and stores in USA, Europe and other overseas markets.
- A working know ledge and experience of overseeing / managing the day to day affairs of the business, communications, customer relations, vendor relations, factory operations, purchases - domestic and imports, exports related commercial activities, HR related activities, cash flow management and basic accounting principles.
- A working knowledge of the statutory and other fiscal rules, regulations, laws and entitlements applicable to the industry.
