Opportunity to work with one of the largest conglomerate in KSA with diversified business interests in 7 countries.

Adopting the structured growth strategies referred-to above, it has successfully identified and implemented various projects, and at the same time, has made direct investments in various number of projects in all the sectors that it is involved in.

Job Responsibilities:

Formulating and executing business strategy for a new ecommerce portal

Building the ecommerce business from scratch and make it one of the largest ecommerce etailer within next 3 years

Developing the business model and revenue streams

Building and managing the entire team to cover various functions

Building strategic alliances with merchant partners and distribution partners

Building attractive redemption and reward schemes as well as conversion algorithms between members of the program

Driving data-mining and customer analytics

Setting and achieving revenue and profit targets

Driving all aspects of the e-Commerce activity on our website including: operational strategy, & reporting operations, infrastructure, merchandising, fulfillment and customer service

Essential Functions:

- The primary job responsibilities are to develop and execute merchandising strategies that optimize our customers buying process, website presentation, and customer satisfaction.

- Responsible for developing and executing the e-Commerce roadmap

- Drive strategic and daily execution for analyzing and merchandising the e-commerce program while adhering to company branding and marketing strategies.

- Specify e-Commerce requirements by conducting market research, analyzing competitors, and maintaining a strong understanding of best in class website UI design.

- Identify industry best practices in e-Commerce and build vendor relationships. Understand how technology advancements drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.

- High-level understanding of fulfillment and supply-chain logistics associated with building and running an enterprise class e-Commerce fulfillment operation

- Responsible for helping filter and merchandise large product catalogs (totaling hundreds of thousands of part numbers) across multiple countries, including defining and creating tools to optimize the process.

- Assist in the selection of featured products and editorial themes for the home page, emails and other customer facing communications

- Work with Sales, Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Marcom Specialists, that optimize the online experience, drive sales profitability and partner with support functions throughout the company that influence online performance and results.

- Ensures effective communication of all e-Commerce initiatives, resulting in consistent understanding of the reasons for, direction of, and expected results of each project. Acts as focal point for progress reporting on key initiatives, including timely updates.

- Analyze and integrate feedback from Customer Service and customer research into site functionality and product presentation requirements

- Overall 7 - 10 years experience in e-Commerce and Marketing with online retailing and with at least 3 years global merchandising.

- Have strong interest in retail e-Commerce, good balance of technical and business skills, project management skills, ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

- Be an inspirational, collaborative leader adept at leading through influence. He will serve as a critical change agent, providing insights that drive new ideas.

- Strong project management, communication, writing and presentation skills.

- Have proven ability to profitably grow e-Commerce sales within the confines of a multi-channel enterprise

- Demonstrated experience managing online campaigns development

- Strong creative skills, with the ability to develop messaging that cuts through the noise, articulates a clear and unique value proposition, and sticks

- Experience handling multiple, concurrent projects and tasks with sometimes complex information-technology requirements.

- Experience with Order Management, Warehousing and Fulfillment System.

- Experience analyzing and interpreting consumer insights and translating qualitative and quantitative data into product features that move the needle on identified KPIs.

- Knowledge of online marketing trends, analytics, and emerging tactics

Desired Skills and Experience

Graduate/MBA

10+ years of senior management experience

Experience running or building an international e-Commerce platform and catalog strategy

Proven track record in building and managing business-P/L

Start-up mentality, adaptive and resourceful

Familiar with loyalty points system and conversion mechanisms

Immersive experience in mobile e-commerce ecosystem

Ready to take on full profit and loss responsibility

IT knowledge
