Designation: Business Finance Manager --Hospitality & Leisure
Job Description:
- The Business Finance Manager is responsible for all the Hospitality & Leisure financial accounting and management reporting
- Analysis of existing internal controls and recommendation / implementation of improvements in the SBUs and play a stellar supporting role to the H & L Business Head(s)
- Drive financial compliance with existing Hotel Operators Agreements
- Analyze and drive Commercial optimization and cost-savings opportunities
- Review Hotel Operations from a Controller perspective and help us in improving the same within the operations where relevant
- Leads the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly statutory/financial reports and audit thereof
- Install/Support relevant financial applications / integration to manage the Leisure segment in a customer-centric yet controlled process.
- Manage the Billing, Inventory and Insurance Processes as relevant
- Oversees more junior staff, mentoring, developing, and training and working out a development plan for each of them.
Qualifications
- 6-8 Years Finance professional having managed Hotel/Hospitality P/l in large operator chains
- Ideally started career in a large accounting firm such as the Big 4.
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, CPA)
- Strong technology orientation with (preferable) experience in setting up SAP, Billing & Inventory applications
- Multi-tasking and prioritized execution orientation within deadlines
- Strong Communication skills
- Show high levels of customer orientation
- Logical, structured, methodical
- Able to cope under pressure
- Flexible in approach to working hours and duties
