Business Finance/Controllership - IT

I am looking for CA / MBAs in Finance. Prefer candidates with 2-3 yrs. of experience in Business Finance / Controllership.

Job Description

As we rapidly scale up our operations, we are looking for an Analyst who will be the Finance face in Pune supporting daily finance operations (including project setup and capitalization), monthly book close, budgeting, analysis and financial dashboards. We are looking to hire a person who is very analytical, intelligent, and has a healthy drive to learn. The role will eventually involve regular interactions across various levels and different teams within the organization / location.

Expectations from the Role

- Branch accounting

- Represent Finance function in cross functional meeting

- Engage with Business units. As Finance partner prepare budgets, analyze actuals and explain variances

- Month-end close process (i.e., accrual preparation and posting, variance analysis, reporting etc.)

- Supports various audits

- Supplying timely and accurate financial information and summary reports as needed to Business units and team in Bangalore

- Performing ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested

- High performance work culture – empower all stakeholders (within / outside COE) with accurate / easy information, while ensuring timeliness and accuracy of all deliverables

Desired Skill

- Experience of working in ERP environment (Preferably SAP)

- Solid Knowledge of Accounting, with understanding of Policies, accounting practices

- Excellent analytical and presentation skills

- Excellent oral, written, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in MS Office, esp. MS Excel

- Team player: ability to collaborate in a matrix / cross-functional environment

- Solid command over numbers as well as eye for details
