We are India's oldest fine jewelry company and are desirous of hiring Business Excellence Executives ( BEEs) to drive and manage Continual Improvement, Process Excellence and Quality Management initiatives in our in-house diamond jewelry manufacturing operations located in Mumbai. Selected candidates will be engineers possessing 2-years, full time, Masters degree in Industrial Engineering / Industrial Management / Operations Management or equivalent. Shop floor experience of at least 4-5 years is essential.  In the first year, BEEs will work hand-in-hand with external consultants and receive expert guidance on application of industrial engineering, quality, and operations management techniques. The job offers a unique opportunity of learning new skills and facing intellectual challenges with exposure across functions and processes.  BEEs will report directly to the Factory Manager and after a two years stint have the opportunity to move into techno-managerial positions in the plant, or leadership positions in corporate supply chain functions.  Desired Candidate Profile  - Must have in-depth knowledge of operations management concepts.  - Should be able to apply these concepts to evolve feasible solutions to achieve significant impact on operations effectiveness and efficiency.  - Must possess interpersonal skills to build broad consensus for the changes to be made by involving plant personnel across all hierarchical levels.  - Having higher order analytical skills and a learning mind-set is a pre-requisite.  - Ought to be a target-driven individual capable of setting and meeting periodic cost reduction and efficiency improvement goals.  Company Description  Established in 1864, TBZ - The Original has been the jewelry destination of choice for five generations of discerning customers.
