Looking for a Business Director - AVP to lead drive its fast growing rural activation business in Mumbai, repeating to the business head.  Position Description:   - Responsible for managing current accounts, and new business development through a lean team.   - Overall client and relationship management, operations and execution of activation/promotional marketing requirements of very large Indian and global clients in rural India.   - Revenues and profitability. Strategic thinking and directing planning and creative teams to deliver clutter breaking ideas within timeframes.   - Analyse reports and facilitate recommendations to make the programs more effective.   - Logistics & stock control. Vendor management.   - People development - conduct workshops, organise training programs and help develop team's skills to take on greater responsibilities.   Candidate Profile:   - PGDM with 10-14 years, of which at least 3 in rural activation agency environment, with exposure to mass based categories such as FMCG, automotive.   - The rest could be in sales, marketing, business development, media such as outdoor, radio. Experience in handling client requirements, people management and crunch situations.  - Able to engage with senior client management team.   - Crisis management abilities.   - Must be extremely articulate, confident.   - Needs to have a high sense of assertiveness, focus and demonstrate a sense of control.   - Confident, energetic composed and mature - with a keen desire to impact both the top line and the bottom line.
