The person will be responsible for providing business solutions through the enhancement of data services products and functionality for meeting the client needs. The person will play a key role in the project life cycle from inception to production and will require to liaise between clients and internal development teams to ensure detailed requirements are understood and documented, and to facilitate the building or modifying of our applications to meet client and industry needs. He will be required to engage with probable / new clients and handle new launches, conversions, activation of products, functionality, and support production issues. This position requires strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key requirements :
- Elicit and translate customer product requirements into comprehensive, complete and accurate business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Participate in defining the business requirements and recommending system solutions to meet business goals and product requirements which satisfy legal, regulatory and client requirements
- Have strong understanding of process flows, requirements gathering techniques, conducting structured analysis, data modeling, process mapping, Software Development and Project Management Life Cycle
- Identify functional or operational gaps through competitive analysis, research, monitoring industry trends and prioritizing customer's requests
- Conduct process analysis, gap analysis and investigation of existing functionality
- Work with the client to obtain an understanding of their products and services
- Contribute to the implementation of new products and communicate effectively between internal and external stakeholders to ensure product satisfaction is maintained
- Document business artifacts utilizing industry best practices to ensure usability, scalability, maintainability
- Participate in project walk throughs involving defining business requirements, design, preparing test plans / strategies and implementation sessions
- Interact with business / operations team and system team including handling team members
- Meeting the Deliverable within the required time frames in an effective and timely manner
- Participate in product documentation including user and implementation guides
Minimum Qualifications :
- Strong knowledge in the securities markets, particularly in the credit rating agencies/ stock exchanges / clearing corporations with minimum of 8+ years experience in Data services products.
- Strong experience in handling the client requirements and converting the client requirements into business specifications documents.
- Understanding of the regulatory bodies governing client product offering and industry best practices.
- University degree or equivalent experience
