As a Business Development Manager, this job will be to develop & nurture business for our clients scanning products.  Roles and Responsibilities:   - Develop industry contacts.  - Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.   - Travel across the region's key cities  - Lead Generation - Opportunity mapping, identifying and listing of potential clients   - Researching potential clients and establishing first level of contact.  - Establish and maintain relationships with partners by offering innovative solutions which drive the business  - Identify researching and attending industry related events.  - Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.  - Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.   - . Manage & create business development strategy, which includes identifying key clients to target and seeing through the BD process on each client   - Generate leads through networking, business contacts, etc., as well as following up on leads  - Developing partnerships with partners and resellers   - Contacting and qualifying prospective customers through a mixture of inbound and outbound techniques   - Considering innovative ways of improving our business development approach   - Build strong relationships with mid to large sized businesses and develop long term client revenue   - Help manage existing client relationships and look for ways to grow revenue across team accounts   - Identify and understand trends within client markets and industries   - Responsible for new business development via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing   - Create and manage channel partner network for products   - Responsible for quarterly & annual revenue targets.  - Provide account management to assigned territories  - Develop and maintain prospect and customer list based on strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads.   - Plan & strategize marketing activities with the marketing and channel teams for the end users and channels.  - Proactively conducting opportunity analysis by keeping abreast of market trends and competitor moves to achieve market-share metrics.  - Plan, oversee and execute the organization's brand building and promotional activities.  - Identify potential market segments/verticals  - Identify prospects and establishing contact with prospects.   - Make presentations to key decision makers; effectively sell the capabilities and credentials of organization.   - Identify client business needs, make proposals for customer solutions.   - Identify & generate business from new accounts, enhance business from existing accounts.   - Negotiate and close business.   - Achieve revenue and contribution targets, build credibility & gain market share.   - Identify prospective alliance partners and enter into strategic alliances.   Desired Skills and Qualifications  Expertise and wide experience in the area of business development, sales, relationship building and people management, with cross functional experience of over 10 years and attained proficiency in developing new opportunities, establishing business tie ups & achieving the targeted business goals across verticals.  - Bachelor's degree  - 10 years of experience in Account Management, Consulting or Customer Relationship.  - Experience in handling prestigious accounts.  - Can prospect, qualify, pursue and close new opportunities for Business Development.  - Good command of spoken and written English.  - Effective interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.  - Ability to work in a multicultural environment.  - Must be able to travel  - Team player  - Flexible to work with a very fast growing dynamic environment  - A - roll up your sleeves- initiative to get the job done  - Proven track record of delivering results  - Proficient in MS Office, Powerpoint and Excel
