Roles and Responsibilities
Summary
Overall responsibility for managing a Product or Product category, owning the sales, growth and long term profit & loss. Responsibilities range from product launch, creation and management of Supplier Vendor networks, driving merchandizing & sales strategies and providing leadership / direction to the BD team involved in managing the Product.
Vendor network management & operations
- Set up and manage a vendor relations team
- Provide direction in creation of an effective network of Supplier Vendors, ensuring agility and speed to market of the concerned Product
- Complete Ownership of Product Catalogue data & pricing
- Drive Relationships with Key Accounts and Brands
