THE COMPANY:

APD Innovations Ventures, is an award-winning innovation company, supported by IIT_D for focusing on Developing Cleaning Technologies in the CleanTech space. The technologies are being funded by the NDA govt, under MSME, Government of India, and other agencies at various levels.

The current focus is on the provision of Hi-Tech Cleanups at Premier premises. For which Direct sales rockstars are solicited.

PRODUCT: Premium Cleanups for HNI residences.

OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION:

Position - Business Development Associate - Direct Sales

Level - Middle level

Location - Churchgate, Lower Parel, Mumbai

Reporting line - Director / CEO / Sales Head

Hours of work - Business Hours / weekends / other.

PURPOSE OF PROFILE:

The Business Development associate's main responsibility is to bring sales from Residential sector, at the premier end of the market (South bombay, etc.), with a 5% weekly growth rate & enjoy the ride. He is free to accomplish Corporates, Institutional, Retail, to fulfill the targets, as add-ons, & get good take-away incentives for this.

EDUCATIONAL PRE-REQUISITES:

Graduate - Hotel Management Degree/Diploma, Engg, Other graduate

Post Graduate - MBA preferred, but not mandatory, but a Smart kick-ass sales freak

Other - if you are a rockstar sales guy with proven track-record, educational qualification would not be a burden.

REQUIREMENTS

DUTIES AND RESULT AREAS:

- Build a Lead management ground across sectors for sales

- Develop Sales, Marketing & Positioning collaterals, sector & client wise.

- Make, Pre-sales, Sales & post-sales client servicing from, process to closure.

- Ensure sales quality, experience & design pitch of the product/service

- Manage accounts and meet or exceed targets relating to revenue growth, activities, profit margin, mix of products and services sales, customer retention and customer acquisition

- Provide regular feedback to senior management about marketplace and competitor activity

- Perform & execute the required daily and weekly reporting tasks as defined by the management

- Develop effective working relationships with customers through regular meetings and identify and obtain further sales and referential business development opportunities

- Extend the highest level of premier experience to customers, at all times.

- Identify requirements for new products & services to anticipate and potentially lead the market.

- Have indepth knowledge of the entire Housekeeping/cleaning industry, specially, Machines, products and services & target fitment.

- Work with top management to develop marketing campaigns to support Sales Strategy. Generate new business and raise awareness of other company products

- Work to improve organization’s market position and achieve financial & target revenue growth

- Develop & achieve key Topline & Bottomline growth with clients & develop a pipeline, with annual service offerings.

ALLIED RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends

- Present to and consult senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels, specially alliance partners.

- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales

- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators and gain financial lead in sales.

- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.

- Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets

- Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities, and how the same could be used to build entry barriers to competition.

- Understand the company’s goal and purpose and map with product, solution sales, so as to enhance the company’s performance.
