Analyst
The business development group drives the development and execution of strategic initiatives in the TV, digital (including mobile and online) and consumer products space in the Asia Pacific region. These initiatives may be developed internally (e.g. development of new channel, extension of existing brand, development of new market, development of new product), or sourced externally (e.g. M&A, partnerships, investments).
The BD Analyst
- provides research and analytical services
- supports the development and execution of initiatives
- supports the execution of projects
Research and analysis
Research, and identify markets, trends, platforms, competitors and new business opportunities. Employ a high level of quantitative analytics in all research.
Presentation Development
Assist or writes concise and cohesive written investment memos and presentations in PowerPoint and Word for senior management
Project Coordination
Coordinate, implement and execute plans, and work with other groups such as management, programming, sales, marketing, legal, finance, etc. to manage projects
The Analyst will be:
Proficient in:
- researching and analyzing markets, trends, platforms, competitors and new business opportunities
- identifying and solving issues and problems
- internal communication
- excel
Developing skills in:
- financial modeling and building business plans
- quantitative analytics
- understanding of media, the market
- project management and implementation
- produce concise and cohesive written investment memos and presentations in PowerPoint and Word for senior management
Experience: 1 to 3 yrs
