Business Analyst- IT Consulting  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  - Performing BA activities like requirement gathering, requirement Elicitation and documentation to help determine solutions to complex business problems.  - Act as liaison between the Business units/Clients and the development team.  - Assist in project user acceptance, including reporting and documenting defects, and conducted complex root cause analysis  - Work with marketing clients to help them make smart decisions and then to implement and track them.  Manage day-to-day delivery independently along with analyst team  Coordination with analysts, statisticians, leading project delivery  Playing a team management role  - Work in the areas of sales & category management, Business Planning, Marketing ROI and other related initiatives  - Help extract insights from consumer, sales, and other data available and provide data analysis, synthesis & presentation support  ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES  - Good marketing domain knowledge understanding, particularly in the consumer goods domain.  - Should be good at Analytical thinking & breaking down large problems into solvable chunks.  - Should be willing to continuously coordinate with onsite clients and teams in India.  - Have a consulting orientation; gather different perspectives, examples and use them to enrich day-to-day work  - Should have Knowledge in Advanced Excel, SQL.  - Willing to travel on site as and when required  QUALIFICATIONS  - 2-5 years Marketing research, Strategy, Consulting experience  - Masters degree in Business Administration is a must. Preferably from a good business school with Marketing as one of the focus areas
