Title: Business Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Skill Set:

Minimum 3 years of core analysis experience in investment banking domain.

Exposure to client on boarding & enterprise data domains with strong understanding of global regulations like Dodd frank,FATCA, Volker, IFRS etc.

Exposure of working as a BA in waterfall & agile environments

Expert in VISIO, MS Office, BRD, FSD, process modelling, UML, Use Cases, database structures and SQL (especially Oracle)

Understands architectural concepts, e.g. web server, build, deployment

Exposure and success working in a matrix organization model

Roles & Responsibilities:

Demand Management:

Follow a strong estimation process, participate in the effort and planning exercise with the lead BA

Plan and prioritise demand effectively to meet most urgent needs, strict adherence to milestones

Provide input into cross project forums to identify interdependencies & resolve inter / intra project issues

Take responsibility for the delivery of the analysis to plan and to budget.

Analysis:

Nature of analysis could be technical or functional depending on the nature of the programme.

Build solid domain and technical knowledge across all GBM IT programmes, this is critical to quality

Communicate with business SMEs globally to understand the business problem/needs, bigger picture and translate it to high quality artefacts, confirm that overall business vision is met

Communicate to all stakeholders in a clear and timely manner

Support design, development & testing acts as the owner of requirements

Deliver on competing priorities with stringent deadlines
