Designation: Senior Business Analyst

Mandatory Requirements:

- Experience with customer interaction, requirements gathering, gap analysis and sound understanding of the software development lifecycle is a must

- Familiarity with the business processes of at least one of the verticals like Financial Services, Banking, Automotive, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare or Foodservices is a must

- Risk and Compliance domain expertise

- Excellent problem solving, presentation, written and oral communication skills

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of SQL and Javascript, a plus

- Experience as a functional consultant in one of the top ERP solutions (Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft), preferably in the Manufacturing and Financial domains is a plus

- Practical exposure to Agile frameworks and Scrum methodology

Personal Traits:

- Ability to deliver quality work products with pace

- Owning Functional Requirements and Front ending with customers (internal and external)

- Ability to quickly adapt to and meet the needs of a rapidly changing environment; hands-on approach as a Business Analyst is essential

- Should be able to utilize Time Management, Planning Skills & Organizing Skills in order to meet critical project milestones such as Functional Specification sign-off.

Role & Responsibilities:

Customer & Project related:

- Interact with MetricStream’s clients worldwide during project kick-off, requirement gathering, gap analysis workshops, end user training and product delivery

- Collaborate with MetricStream’s Product Management departments regarding application features and functionality using the Product Roadmap process

- Create requirements document, gap analysis document, functional specifications as well as review test plan and test cases; Execute functional testing of the configured product

- Use functional and domain expertise to translate customer functional requirements into solution design

- Understand the configuration aspects between various MetricStream applications

- Understand the linkages between various MetricStream applications that constitute an industry solution offering

- Practice and help enforce best practices for software development within the team

- Lead and guide a team of application developers as needed, help them understand the business requirements and develop applications and / or configured solutions

- Review Application User Guides and training material for MetricStream’s customers

- Short term (1 week to 1 month) travel is required

Senior BA related:

- Support the BA Functional CoE

- Guide a team of Junior BA’s w.r.t. project implementations and/or domain and product knowledge, as applicable

- Work on RFPs (Request For Proposals) as required

- Work with the Advanced Engineering Group to deliver specialized products or applications

Education & Experience:

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering/Business or Computer Applications

- 8+ years Experience in software development with international exposure
