Business Analyst - Insurance

About the role

In collaboration with other dedicated Management Business Managers, your responsibilities will include:

Promoting the full RICH tool suite and other partner management process applications such as AML-Wire

Establishing and promoting best practice tool and data usage together with a global network of business experts of Client Markets-, Underwriting-, Business Management- and Group Functions

Managing the global expert user community and advising other stakeholders across all management levels

Enhancing partner data management services and functionality

Analyzing, prioritizing, scoping and managing system and material data change requests from a business perspective in close collaboration with the respective business stakeholders and IT counterparties

Ensuring sustained high partner data quality by further refining, promoting and operationalizing the Partner Data Quality Assurance Framework

Developing, arranging and conducting user trainings as well as regular refresher trainings and expert train-the-trainer programs

About the team

This is your opportunity to join the exciting world of the global Business Intelligence Team of company Centre. The team acts as centralized facilitator for the global insurance community and Group Functions in organizing, managing and maintaining core data and KYC information of company external business partners. The team is positioned to support and educate internal business experts in all divisions on all core partner data and partner application related matters. With its broad understanding of the diverse company business processes, the team is a true partner for the wide range of stakeholders it supports.

The successful candidate will assume the business ownership of the insurance CRM tool suite and KYC process applications such as RICH and AML-WIRE. In this role, you will act as business consultant, expert advisor, and focus person and business user community manager.

About You

Graduate / Post-graduate in Business Management, Engineering or similar.

5-7 years' experience as a data handling expert / business analyst/ role in tools management.

Good Excel, MS Access, Power Point skills, word, good knowledge of relational databases/SQL.

Previous working experience on any Business Intelligence tools is an advantage.

Any Project/Change Management Certification is an added advantage.

Strong business analysis skills with the ability to independently identify issue root causes, scope, prioritize and action sustainable remedial actions with relevant business or operational impact

Working experience on Master Data Management (MDM), Data warehouse, and or Business Objects is added advantage.

Solid reporting and visualization skills

Strong communicator and change manager with the ability to distil topics to essence per stakeholder group

Drive & enthusiasm with the ability to obtain buy-in from stakeholders, displaying 'can-do' attitude

Self-motivated, proactive and client focused mentality

Ability to deal positively with ambiguity and conflict

Some background in partner data management and a passion for business operations is an asset

Good understanding of insurance processes and products

At least 5 years of experience in insurance

Language skills: English fluent written and spoken, any other European language is an advantage

Bangalore candidates only preferred.
