JOB SUMMARY:

- The business analyst would require to closely work with Custody Bank’s business team and technology teams to elicit the business requirements. He would be responsible for clearly understanding the business requirements, preparing the functional specifications out of it and effectively communicating it to the various stakeholders and development teams during various phases of the project lifecycle.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

- Asset Servicing

- Experience of Processing Corporate Actions across global markets.

- Good exposure on end to end Corporate Action Life Cycle

- Good grasp of processing of various standard events

- Good understanding of the nuances in processing Voluntary, Mandatory and Mandatory with Option events

- Thorough Knowledge of each of the MT56x messages, their functions and the logical usage of each of the message during the CA life cycle

- Knowledge of processing single stage and multi-stage events

- Understanding various interfaces required in the end-to-end event processing scenarios

- Proven experience in meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Elicits business need through structured interviews and information gathering sessions to define the business requirements

- Document business requirements, including clarity on agreed scope and items not in scope, clearly using structured templates and validates with the business users for timely sign off

- Preparation of functional Specifications out of business requirements and obtain the sign off from the stake holders.

- Traceability of requirements in scope through User testing

- Partner with the technical teams and clients to understand business requirements to support minor changes and enhancements

- Responsible for test planning and execution by defining UAT test strategy, scenarios and framework to guide client SMEs through effective UAT script writing, test execution.

- Effectively communicates the status and risk to relevant stakeholders

- Coordinate with teams in a variety of time zones to have smooth deliverable

- Train the technical teams on application.
