The Business Analyst is responsible for building best-in-class and innovative analytics and reporting solutions. This role will have responsibility for establishing, running, and sustaining processes and practices that support Big Data, Analytics, and Reporting solutions and applications. The candidate should have a passion for data, working with business people, and creating solutions and driving innovation with a keen interest in mentoring and elevating other technical resources. This role will be part of a lean team and will focus on delivering solutions to specific clients and assisting them to solve business challenges related to promotion optimisation, range optimisation, new product development, pricing, customer profiling, category planning, etc.

Statistical analysis : Hypothesis Testing, Factor Analysis, Principal Component Analysis, Univariate & Bivariate Analysis, Clustering, CHAID, ANOVA, Time - series analysis & Forecasting.

Statistical Modeling : Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Generalized Linear Models (GLM), ARIMA, ARIMAX, parallel computational techniques for Linear and Logistic Regressions.

Machine Learning : Random Forest, Stochastic Gradient Boosting, Support Vector Machines (SVM), Neural Networks

Data manipulation and analysis using R, Aqua Data, MySQL, SAS, MS-SQL and MS Excel.

Automation of tools, functions and grid optimization for techniques involving multiple parameters using R Macros
